How to Install Your GoTones Presets

Getting your new tones onto your Line 6 Pod Go is a simple 3-step process. Follow these instructions to get started in minutes.

1. Download & Unzip

Once your purchase is complete, you will receive an email with a download link.

• Download the folder to your computer.

• Right-click the folder and select "Extract All" (Windows) or double-click to unzip (Mac).

• Inside, you will find your .pgp (Pod Go Preset) files.

2. Connect to Pod Go Edit

You cannot drag these files directly onto the pedalboard like a USB drive. You must use the official software:

• Connect your Pod Go to your computer via USB.

• Open the Pod Go Edit application.

• Don't have it? Download it for free from the [Line 6 Website].

3. Import the Presets

• In Pod Go Edit, look at the list of presets on the left.

• Choose an empty slot (or a preset you don't mind overwriting).

• Option A: Simply drag and drop the .pgp file from your computer folder directly into that slot.

• Option B: Click "Import" at the top of the software and select your files.

• Important: Once the preset appears, click SAVE in the software or on the device to ensure it stays there!

Pro Tips for the Best Tone:

• Check Your Output: If you are playing through a guitar amp, go to Global Settings > Ins/Outs and ensure your output matches your gear (Amp Out vs. Main Out).

• Snapshots: Most GoTones presets come with Snapshots (Intro, Verse, Solo). Make sure to toggle your foot switches to hear the different "scenes" we built into each tone!
